Song of the Mahāmudrā

The sounds of feeding flies were captured using microphones placed on the excrement of wild boars and recorded in a single take along with the surrounding cicadas and other insects, birds and critters, without further edits or overlays, on Mount Ikoma in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The place where I want to die, where my body should rot in the sunlight or at least where my ashes should be scattered.

The creek was recorded in the holy mountains of northern Vietnam and added to the recording along with three tones created at the Om Kult Osaka studios.

Live is not short, it is excruciating long in my mind. At the time of dying, I aspire to transfer my consciousness through the vertex of my skull into the clear Light-of-Death without direction, destination, division, distinction or description and finally into the Pure Lands.

I am grateful to have met so many beautiful women and amazing men, ingenious artists, great spirits and ghosts who transformed my initially mundane life into an extraordinary, enormously exciting and ecstatic journey. Thank you.
